LETTER FROM JOHN BELUSHI This letter, written on vintage NBC stationery on Dec. 12, 1978, was written to Zippy by Saturday Night Live comedian/movie star John Belushi. It was mailed c/o Rip-Off Press, one of the underground comic publishers of the Zippy comic books (including "Zippy Stories" #1 & #2) at that time. Of course, the letter was intended for Bill Griffith. The letter reads: "Dear Zippy, I liked the Zippy Stories . Keep them coming. Would it be possible for you to host the show on February 4th? Yours in television, (signed: 'Belushi') John Belushi" Below is a stamped date: "TUESDAY DEC 13 REC'D" Slight staple hole at top left. Otherwise excellent condition. $1500.00
